Nominations for the 2010 "Good Neighbour Award" run by Neighbourhood Watch are now open - nominate a person or a couple who you consider to be a "Good Neighbour". The definition is very wide and can include anyone who lives or works the Winchelsea & District area.

It may be someone who has helped you, helped someone else you know of, or performed community work. Recognise their efforts and fill out & submit the nomination form on the back of the Neighbourhood Watch newsletter.

The Annual Good Neighbour Award will be presented at the NHW-Schools Day on Monday 1st November 2010. Please take the opportunity to recognise those who help us by coming along. The Annual NHW-Schools Day will be held at the Leisure Time Centre in Winchelsea, from 10am to 12:30pm. The 'Code One' Police Band will be there to provide entertainment. Schools from Anglesea, Ceres, Cressy, Deans Marsh, Moriac and Winchelsea will be taking part.

Entry is free, and everyone is encouraged to pop along and support this event. A cuppa and a snack will be available for gold coin donation.
