The Military Historical Society Geelong and the Geelong Military Re-enactment Group, in association with the National Trust are presenting a Military Living History weekend at the historic Barwon Park Mansion.

Profits from this event will be donated to the National Trust, the Winchelsea WW1 monument restoration, and St Thomas Church restoration.

Comen and experience a spectacular presentation of Australian Military History and Memorabilia from the 1800s through to the Vietnam era.

Wander through period encampments portraying the different forces engaged in France during World War 1 and World War 2. Get up close with restored military vehicles. See the weapons, uniforms, medals, and equipment used by our Armed Forces. Find out how to research your family's Military History.

  • Battlefield Re-enactments with Blank Firing and Pyrotechnics
    • Aussies assault the Hindenburg Line in 1917
    • Action in France as the Allies liberate Europe in 1944
  • Weapons Demonstrations and Blank Firing
  • Uniform parade
  • Memorabilia (medals, papers, etc.)
  • Military vehicles

Cost: $10 per person, children under 12 free.
